What’s the purpose of a first post in a blog?

Writing gotta start from somewhere, right? Kind of like the awkward first exchange with a yet-to-become acquaintance.

Anyway, while I’ve got your attention, I might as well tell you a bit about me, and what I’m interested in.

I’ve been a programmer since the age of 6 and a product designer once I was able to formalize what irked me about computing. My inner hobbyist takes interest in economics and finance, electronics, AI and music composition.

I’ve been focused on automation for the last few years, on the software front, but also on the hardware side, and the social and economic dynamics induced by it.

I will be probably be writing my thoughts about these topics, and others.
